Tink the lazyness is getting into my bones again. As u can see, i was quite lazy on blogging on the 2nd half of the trip, so i juz put it down on photos.

Went to MOS on thurs. Ya, got some free tickets, so i jio ppl around to go, but inside the animal gang, two in army, one working and one studying. So end up, i went with poly frens. Oh ya, i dun jio ppl who are ABT to take their a'lvls for fear of corrupting them:)

Not bad sia, tt place. The music rly rocked. Somehow, when we went there, even though we didn't drink a lot, me, mc zw and augustine got tt urge to go down to dance. End up, we danced from 11+++ till 3+, save zw who left early. Tt's for me la, cuz my limit was reached when we stopped for a break.

So end up, i was sitting there watching augustine and mc dancing like siao and was falling asleep. Can't blame me, ever since i came back from sabah, it takes a miracle to keep me awake past 2am. So i cab home and khoon, whereas the other two hiong kia cont to dance there until morning.

Lol, hope got lobang again next time.

-

Wedding dinner at thurs. Dunno who he is la, some old neighbour from clementi(whom i can't possibly rmbr, since i was 2 yrs old when we moved away from clementi). So me and mum sat at this table where all the uncles gathered.

So this uncle A was complaining to the one beside him abt not knowing how to use his hp, a camera hp. Then the uncle B teaching A, was scolding him abt buying a hp he dunno how to use. So, A replied:

"Catch no balls."

Sounds funny for me and mum, cuz my mum luvs saying catch no balls whenever she dun understand sth. Now i noe it's a famous saying among the older generation.

Went to the Post YEP trip today. Heng heng i went sia, free money from the teachers. Apparently, we saved up a lot more on meals than we expected, so Mr Low gave us back the remainder, which was $23 each personXD

Now tt i tink abt it, 5 RM per meal when we were at the city was quite impossible, becuz each item cost at least 6 RM, unless u toking abt prata.

So basically, we saved up on meals when we cooked them ourselves at Togudon Village, the one we stayed at in the mountains. Hence, our meals there cost roughly 3.37 RM per person. Now this sure is a surprise.

Anyways, we held a children days' programme for some kids from Touch Young Arrows. Quite fun la, though one kid scared me by asking me wat my msn was and he wanted to add me.

*note: he's only 8 yrs old

Rly ah, u compare pri sch kids in sg and sabah and u see a vast difference.
-

Btw, i'm quite pissed by a bunch of gals in the YEP group. Won't mention their names, but i tink they ought to congratulate themselves for being able to piss me off, becuz i rarely get pissed off and also tries not to get pissed off so easily.

Now i'm praying i won't have anything to do with them in the future ever again

The whole YEP team

Summit of Mount Kinabalu. Quite grand

The Long House, an inn at the tea plantation. Now this place rly rocked!

The non-capsize team, which ended up capsizing twice....

The Round Inn, which turns out to be not round, but full of circles instead

The Manuka Island scenery....

Now this one is quite shocking. Why did they add "Lest We Forget"?

Padi fields and terracing....Something i thought i can only see in geography textbks
-

Oh ya, did i include? I saw a shooting star on the last nite at the village. Man, it was damn cool, though i thought it was an aeroplane at first.

Came back from sabah at roughly last friday.

Well, overall, the trip was damn fun. Saw a lot of things i've nvr seen, learnt a lot of things i've nvr learned, it was rly awesome.

Though i have to admit, i almost came back in a coffin. But still, i'm safe now, so we dun rly need details, do we.

-

The whole trip can be divided into 3 parts: Before going to the mountain village, At the mountain village, and after going to the mountain village.

Before:

  • Assembled at some HDB blk near Clementi MRT station
  • Alrdy, they all started comparing bag sizes
  • Kang lun won the smallest bag award
  • Then we set off
  • The trip there was amazing in a way. The driver had one hand on her HP, one hand on the wheel and was driving at 100 - 120km per hr
  • The way she kept overtaking cars was shocking
  • Makes u tink y there aren't any female drivers in F1 racing
  • They might rly succeed in tt section
  • Reached the airport
  • As expected of a JB airport, small and v.few things to see
  • Then we went up the plane, set off to sabah, reached sabah successfully
  • I dunno y everytime i sit in airplanes, the videos of airplane crashing i saw in youtube suddenly comes into my head
  • To make things worse, the landing sux. Whole plane trembling and shaking like siao, makes u tink the whole plane might fall apart anytime
  • So we reached our inn, the City Park Inn, and we left our stuff and went for dinner.
  • Wanted to go to the night market, but tt lanjiao place closed damn early, at abt 10pm
  • So we had a rest. Warren got a bit drunk, so when we have prata for supper, he kept toking abt some self-raising flour.

Tt ends our first day.

  • Woke up gan early, but the sun was brighter than i thought. Seems like time is 1 hr faster here.
  • After breakfast, set off to Manuka island.
  • Boat trip there was fantastic. And it's been a while since i last saw very clean seawater, so it's an added bonus
  • When we reached there, we went snorkling
  • But i have to admit, i didn't noe how to use tt shitty thing, so i ended up tearing the airpipe and the goggles apart, and only used the goggles
  • Fish there was amazing. V.colourful
  • And the small fish there was wtf. Ryan kept complaining abt how much leg hair he lost from all the pecking
  • Kena a "not-so-severe-but-still-quite-painful sunburn"
  • Went back, went for kfc & pizzahut for dinner
  • Also had a walk at the night market
  • Finally went back. Intended to slp as i had a big cut at my feet from stepping on some rock, but jasmine forced me to go supper with her as she was too hungry to go to slp
  • She slip and fell halfway back. I guess her reflection of the day would be "I will look at where i'm walking in the future"

At:

  • Went to Giant to buy watever necessities we have to buy
  • Each group have to buy watever the list asked them to buy
  • Our group was the luckiest, only 2 ppl and we have to buy 4 items, mainly comprising of soap and shampoo
  • So we went to help other groups
  • Wat was ridiculous happened afterwards
  • Everyone began to buy their own stuff, comprising of a lot of biscuits, instant noodles and even canned food
  • One group of ppl even bought pillows
  • I was like, hello, we're going there to experience rural life in all aspects?
  • Took us some time before we reached there
  • Will use the time there to re-evaluate if i like rural or urban life more
  • Reached there, unpack all the shit, repaired toilets(thankfully, i thought i had to wash them)
  • Went for a little exploring and found some weird route upwards
  • Found a mini farm there, with lettuce, leak and onion

Scenery was great. It felt rly gd to have the clouds juz beside u
  • For the next few days, my shift comprises of going to the pri sch, do painting at the kindergarden and cook.
  • The pri sch students were v.cute, v.innocent
  • Though i have to admit, they're imbal at tao poking ppl
  • When they see someone twice as big as them, they attempt to climb onto the person and bring the person down
  • I was surrounded by 10++ kids trying to bring me down
  • For the 1st and 2nd day, went to pri sch
  • 3rd day, did painting.
  • Quite fun la, painting
  • But i cocked up 5 times and had paint all over my hands and legs
  • Took me a while to remove them from my palms
  • Though my legs and arms had remnants
  • 4th day, went back to pri sch
  • Honestly, if i dun have any family or frens left in sg, i might consider migrating to sabah to be a teacher
  • Even if pay sux, u have to admit, all these fresh air, beautiful scenery, etc succeeded in making up for tt lack of salary

And we went to the waterfall on the 5th day. Let u see how the waterfall looks like

Shuang rite?

Will post a part 2 soon. Dun ask me why got so many spacing in between, ask www.blogger.com

Going to Sabah for next 2 wks, so dun expect there to be any posts during tt time period. Also running low on inspiration, so dun expect anything.

Arm is currently rendered useless, no thx to tt fucking tetanus injection. Seems like my body has a great reaction against foreign matter tt's forced into my body. Having a fever(didn't report to mum) and numb right arm. Was quite tempted to chop it off for the sake of stopping tt numbness, but i ain't a v.gd pain endurer, so i guess it'll have to stay for now.

Tink i have to pack soon, lest i forgot anything important.

-

Btw, my da jie told me sth v.amusing. Apparently, odex held a press conference saying they will cont to catch downloaders and if anyone stops downloading by monday, they will give a 2nd chance and not catch them.

And seems like starhub hasn't betrayed our fellow downloaders yet.

Rly ah, i tink they GG liao.

From the title, u can tell i'm gonna tok abt teachers' day. But to be honest, i didn't go back to any schs or visit any teachers. I guess i'm quite afraid to go back. One is becuz i scared they dun recognise me, two is becuz i wasn't a v.gd student to be proud of, so i dun tink the teachers would wanna see my face anyway.

Was most tempted to visit IJC. There's nth special abt tt place and things tt happen there, weren't as memorable as one would tink(especially the big mouth principal). However, the most impt thing abt tt place was how i met a teacher who would make me respect her the most.

Ok la, i noe i didn't do her hmwk, but seriously, she's the one i felt i learnt the most from. Way back when i was still her student, during GP, she taught me a lot of things. Not juz world issues or watever shit, but also abt life's lessons. She taught me tt the world is not as small as i thought. It's not juz black or white in this world, there's a bit of grey everywhere. To be simple, she meant tt there are a lot of angles when u looked at a story. In other words, u may tink u're doing the right thing, but it maybe the wrong thing in other's eyes. She taught me not to look at things from juz my angle, but from others' angle as well. Only then will i see a bigger and wider world tt's a lot more interesting.

She even corrected my ways and caused my thinking to change. Seriously sia, if i nvr met her, i tink i'll still remained the stupid idiot i was back then.

So, i have to say, thx, Mrs Naidu. Honestly, u're one great teacher. I noe i wasn't a great student, but u were definitely a great teacher to me. GTN!!!!XD
