When i was small, my mum would occasionally not cook dad's dinner. When i asked y, my mum will say he went off to attend a 'curry party' tt nite, so he won't come back until very late. And when i asked wat a curry party is, my mum will ask me wat are the 2 words she juz say?

So, reading it literally, it's curry and party, which means it's a party, with different kinds of curry in it, rite? So tt was wat i thought, all thx to my mum's education. When my dad came home, i still have the cheek to ask him, 'hi dad, how come nvr bring some of the curry home?'

Eventually, i told my da jie, and finally, she told me wat it actually means.

Curry Party = Funeral

Everytime at a funeral, curry chicken is definitely being served to the ppl who came to pay their respects. Even for poor ppl, they'll definitely serve curry chicken and bread. Thus, dunno who the heck started it, but ppl started calling it 'Curry party'.

Juz found out tt there'll be a 2 months holiday some time in august. Was damn shocked, but eventually, decided it was a nice timing, cuz i needed money and it's a best timing to find a job. Some things i'll get with my salary.
